ARCHITECT: GUSTAVE DE LAGUARIQUE (1906)

The Espace Camille Darsiere used to be the Law Court but now hosts the artistic workshops of the "Service Municipal d'Action Culturelle."
It was rebuilt in 1906 by Gustave de Laguarique who used a neo-classical Italian style.
There is a landscaped plaza in front of the cultural center with a statue of the famous abolitionist Victor Schoelcher.
The Espace Camille Darsiere is worth a short visit for a glimpse of the local culture.
Entry is free.
